Product Committee
The Product Committee helps hosts evaluate proposal value, risks, and roadmap alignment.
Purpose
The Product Committee helps voting hosts notice valuable proposals and pay attention to initiatives that may be risky for the network.
Committee decisions are advisory. The committee does not promise to react to every proposal.
Owner
Evaluation focus
The committee mainly reviews initiatives that:
- Can bring meaningful value to the network and matter to the protocol, hosts, developers, and inference users.
- Are reflected in the current roadmap.
- May create significant risks for the network.
Framework
The committee uses Proposal Scoring Framework v1 for product and technical proposals. After review, the filled scoring framework is published in community channels and sent to hosts.
Working format
- Committee meetings are recorded on video.
- Recordings are published on the committee YouTube channel.
- Strong initiatives may receive a recommendation and public AMA support.
- Potentially harmful or suspicious proposals may receive a separate response and recommendations.
- Roadmap changes are discussed in open GIP — Gonka Improvement Protocol — meetings.
