Team onboarding
How external teams can propose a role or project for Gonka and choose the right committee for the first conversation.
This section is for external teams that want to join Gonka in some role: propose a product initiative, go-to-market activity, research, development, infrastructure work, or another contribution to the network.
Where to bring your proposal
- If your proposal is about PR, marketing, community, distribution, or go-to-market work, contact the go-to-market committee.
- If your proposal is about product, roadmap, technical direction, user scenarios, or protocol value, contact the Product Committee.
- If it is unclear which direction your proposal belongs to, or you need help with the governance process, contact Governance Support.
What to prepare before reaching out
When reviewing an application, the committee will always want to understand:
- Who you are: team, organization, key participants, and their roles.
- What achievements you have that can be verified, and how: organization website, case studies, GitHub profiles or repositories, public materials, references, partnerships, metrics.
- What you propose to do for Gonka: goal, expected result, timeline, working format, and area of responsibility.
- What compensation you want: budget, payment model, milestones, and terms for renewal or completion.
The more concrete the application is, the easier it is for the committee to decide who should review it and what next steps to suggest.
